ELOT 1435 is Greek standard developed by EDEE (Association of Advertising-Communication Companies) in conjunction with ELOT. The standard determines the final criteria: organization and infrastructure of a communication company. Relying on international quality management standard ISO 9001, ELOT 1435 encourages communication companies to identify key "processes", ie their activities, to analyze them, to identify points of improvement, to record, monitor & evaluate them based on measurable indicators. In short, it encourages communication companies to make an introspection of their organization to control costs and to be protected against possible failures.

Under Law 3688/2008, the agencies that provide communication services to the  government and broader public sector will be required to comply with the requirements of standard ELOT 1435 and have a conformity certificate by the accredited Certification Bodies.
